One such application that could potentially benefit from this collaboration is the retail carrier bag, providing a solution that is a 100% cellulose fiber-based material, while boasting properties not commonly associated with paper: stretch, strength and lightweight. Additionally, this solution would provide a more sustainable option over single-use plastic bags.
